Armstead Academic Project Inaugural Kickoff for Kids Gala

The Inaugural Kickoff for Kids Gala held at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel in Sacramento was a first-class night of charity and giving to support San Francisco 49er Arik Armstead’s efforts to support educational equity in Sacramento and the Bay Area. Arik was presented the keys to Sacramento by Mayor Steinberg, and the gala was closed out by a set by hip hop legend Doug E Fresh to celebrate 50 years of hip hop. Sponsors, invited guests, and fellow 49ers joined Arik in his efforts.
